How you will contribute:
As an Administrative & Office Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and managing the administrative support staff, reviewing and analyzing month-end financial data, and improving administrative processes. You will also assist field operations by providing administrative support and managing the flow of communications between the field, the office, and corporate services and will assist in the coordination of projects with other operational divisions. Demonstrate your strong attention to detail by accurately allocating credit card charges to departments and/or projects for which expenses were incurred, updating wage and benefit information on spreadsheets used for estimating, and updating the policies and procedures manual to include regulatory requirements for states in which the company conducts business. Management responsibilities include employee training, coaching, development, performance management, hiring, and termination decisions. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.

 

What you need to qualify:
Ahern will help make the most of your Associate degree in an administrative program. Three to five years of prior experience in an office management or administrative assistant role is preferred with relevant supervisory experience. Being proficient in Microsoft Office and technically inclined to learn industry specific software will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial. Time management, making decisions independently, in depth problem-solving skills, ability to provide constructive feedback, and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality will all be essential in this position.
