We are hiring a Human Resources Intern to work in our Fond du Lac office. During the school year, this position will require 15 to 20 hours per week on-site in the office between our office hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, depending on our Intern's school schedule. During the summer the position will be full time, 40 hours per week. 

 

How you will contribute: 

As a Human Resources Intern, you are responsible for completing, checking, and/or processing forms and documents related to specific Human Resources programs. You will gain exposure to employee rewards, learning and development, recruitment, and employee relations.

 

This Is What We Are Looking for:

Our HR Intern will offer general support to HR Department including assisting HR Business Partners with questions on programs or processes within their purview. You will process and prepare professional, error-free paperwork and correspondence; along with maintaining and ensuring data in the HR Department’s HRIS and filing systems. The HR Intern will respond to all verbal and written employment verification requests. You will process new hire and termination paperwork including the hiring and termination of employees relative to systems and benefits. The HR Intern oversees the performance review processes within the HRIS system and provides overflow support to recruiting duties. You will be responsible for all aspects of safety, continuous improvement/efficiency improvement, and adhering to policies and procedures along with performing other related duties as requested or assigned.

 

What you need to qualify:

Pursuing a post-secondary degree; preferably in Human Resources. One year of general office experience is preferred. Graduating in December 2025 or later. Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must have great customer service skills and be able to handle confidential information and sensitive situations. Excellent organizational skills, exceptional follow-up skills, and attention to detail.
