How you will contribute:

This is a great opportunity to showcase exceptional customer service skills while being the first point of contact for emergency service calls, billing-related inquiries, and scheduling future services for Ahern's customers. In this position, you will be an anchor point for the field techs and superintendent by knowing who is working where and prioritizing customer requests. You will generate and dispatch work orders to our service technicians, process weekly billings, renew maintenance agreements, maintain various customer databases, and provide support to the assigned superintendent, service sales, and project management teams. In addition, completing purchase orders, tracking information in various systems, following up with customers and vendors, and other tasks to help ensure projects and maintenance services are executed to the timeline.     

 

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will help make the most of your one to three years of administrative and/or customer service work experience, an Associate's degree in an applicable program is preferred. Being proficient in Microsoft Office and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial. The ability to multi-task will be important as there will be involvement in multiple projects and scheduled maintenance at varying stages of implementation.
