How you will contribute:
As the Fire Protection Contract and Service Superintendent, you will ensure that all sprinkler service and contract work is performed in accordance with Ahern’s safety standards, code standards, budget, and schedule by putting the right people on the right work at the right time. You will actively manage workload (backlog) to ensure all work is completed within the appropriate timeframe. You will be responsible for balancing your time appropriately between office and field-related tasks. You will regularly work with designers, project managers, and general contractors on sprinkler project questions and issues.
What you need to qualify:
Qualified candidates will need to be at the 669 sprinkler fitter/journeyman level. Candidates must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, be able to travel for the position and pass an appropriate drug screen and physical. Successful candidates must be self-starters, able to lead and direct others, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement.
