We have an exciting opportunity for a Applications Analyst located in Various Locations.

How you will contribute:
This is a great opportunity to showcase your critical thinking abilities and attention to detail while playing a key role in overseeing the management of software for our Fire Protection Design roles with a high emphasis on AutoSPRINK software. The ideal candidate will have a desire to understand the code of the AutoSPRINK software and work with people across many internal teams. As an Applications Analyst, you will be the main partner and contact for representatives from external program companies as well as the main internal contact for the fire protection design teams at Ahern on the software. You will exercise your attention to detail while maintaining and creating new blocks for the design system as well as maintaining the design templates. This role will work closely with many groups across the company, including fire protections designers, design managers, the design training (DETAILS) team, supply chain, IT and the fabrication shop, to identify changes and system upgrades, requiring a high level of communication with all partners. Additionally, this role will troubleshoot system bugs and vet out new software versions prior to their release to the business, while maintaining process and procedures.

 

What you need to qualify:
Ahern will help make the most of your fire protection design experience and/or degree in a design/drafting-related program. Being proficient in AutoSPRINK and being technically inclined to manage the software will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, high communication skills, maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial. The ideal candidate will have prior experience designing in AutoSPRINK and a history of effectively working cross functionally with many teams.
