How you will contribute:

As Field Fire Protection Construction Superintendent, you will ensure that contract work is performed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. You will spend approximately 30% of your time in the office, and the other 70% will be spent with the field crew, ensuring jobs are completed properly. You will ensure that field teams are adhering to all safety policies and installations are to Ahern standards. Working closely with the designers, answering questions related to the installation of the sprinkler system, will result in increased consistency and quality. While on site, you will work closely with general contractors and attend scheduling meetings to coordinate scheduling and assist with any issues on the project. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement of the National 669 Union.

 

What you need to qualify:

Qualified candidates will be a Sprinkler Fitter/Journeyman/Foreman. Candidates must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, be able to travel for the position, and pass an appropriate drug screen and physical. Successful candidates must be self-starters, able to lead and direct others, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced service environment.
